A delivery note (Phiếu giao hàng) is a packing slip printed from the invoice. It lists what you shipped and how many. It does not show prices or VAT. It is not sent to the tax authority.
The VAT invoice is the tax document. The delivery note is for the warehouse, the driver, and the person who signs on receipt.
#When you can open it
Open an issued invoice that has a CQT code. In More, choose Delivery note.
You can view it in the side panel, or Download a PDF to print and send with the goods.
#What is on it
Taken from the invoice — you do not type a second document.
- Seller and buyer — name, address, tax number
- The attached invoice number and issue date
- Line items — description, unit, quantity. No money.
- Blank delivery date, plus spaces for the deliverer and the receiver to sign
Fill the date and signatures on the printed copy when the goods change hands.
#What it is not
- Not a VAT e-invoice. The official file is still the signed XML. See How it works.
- Not something you look up on the tax portal. Use Look up invoice for that.
- Not a way to correct an issued invoice. Use Adjust or Replace.
