A web invoice is a page the customer opens in the browser. It is not the official XML. It is the readable copy, plus payment tools. It is available after the invoice is Validated and has a CQT code. See Invoice statuses.
#How to send
Open the issued invoice.
- Send — email it to the customer. You can add a CC.
- Share link — copy the same page and paste it in Zalo, a message, or chat.
- View — open the page yourself, the way the customer will see it.
You can send again later. The link does not change.
#What the customer gets
- The invoice on a phone or laptop. No app to install.
- Download PDF to read or print. Download XML if they need the official file.
- Verify this invoice on the official tax portal.
- Bank transfer details — bank name, account, transfer note, amount — and a QR to scan and pay.
The transfer note already has the invoice number, so Match Payments can pick it up when the money lands.
#Why use the link
- No fat PDF in the inbox. One link is enough.
- You see Customer viewed web invoice on the activity timeline when they open it.
- They pay with the right note, so matching is easier.
#What the badge means
The badge on the web invoice is for the customer, not your books. Hover it for a short explanation.
They do not see Sent, Matched, Unmatched, Partially matched, Unpaid, or Overdue. Those stay in your list. See Invoice statuses.
- CQT code issued (Đã cấp mã CQT) — the tax authority accepted this invoice and issued a CQT code. This is the usual badge. It still shows after you send the link or match a bank transfer. It means the invoice is official, not that the customer still owes or has paid.
- Pending (Đang xử lý) — rare on this page. The tax authority has not issued a CQT code yet. The invoice is not fully issued.
- Adjusted (Đã điều chỉnh) — you later issued an adjustment. This copy is no longer the current amount. The related list on the page links to the later invoices.
- Replaced (Đã thay thế) — a new invoice took this one’s place. Use the replacement, not this page.
- Invalid (Không hợp lệ) — the tax authority rejected it, or it is no longer valid. Do not treat it as an official invoice.
The official invoice is still the signed XML sent to the tax authority. The web page is how the customer receives it. See How it works.
